In the beginning the Wind scattered Coyote Seeds

over the desert breast of Mother Earth

And Mother Earth brought forth a vine and flower in the desert

And the Sun and the Rain turned the flower into the bitter green fruit of the Coyote Melon

And the Sun dried the fruit until it became a smooth, round Coyote Gourd

And Gene

cut and burned and painted and balanced until the Coyote Gourds became Wasteland Art

Chaco Birds – Painted

Painted Chaco Birds received Second Place in the Sculpture Category in the Juried Art Contest and Exhibition held during the summer of 2004 in Las Vegas.

I also did my part for Homeland Security

Time marched on; Sean and Regina had a new baby Regina in July, 2005

Baby Regina became a doll for her big sister Maria

They make a very handsome family

Pedro, "Pete," McCoy y Lerdo de Tejda joined Sean, Regina and his sisters in February, 2007.

Gene lost 20lbs from the above!
